The Event Place is a multi-purpose venue located in one of Houston’s oldest neighborhoods. Offering 4,500 square feet of open indoor event space, the iconic structure was built in 1940 and operated as Martinez Resale Shop until the transformation that began in 2016. The elegant yet modern space contains barrel trussed ceilings and exposed brick walls which speak to the architectural history of the location.
